I borrowed this line and applied it to the following truth. If you are a Christian, the Bible says “Resist the Devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) The word resist is an ongoing verb. In game terms, it’s coming against your opponent not just for one play or a series of plays but for the whole game. Whatever it takes!
We have the powerful name of Jesus! In my life, I had made a habit of letting things overcome me. I’ve drawn a line in the sand! I’ve been drawing that line for 11 years in reality. This has been through a life and death trial of health issues that I have fought. I will address this in more detail in the future.
God spoke to my heart a while back and told me he had to get all the quit out of me. He has been working on me overtime. He didn’t make me sick but out of this painful experience has come great joy and an in-depth knowledge of divine healing and an intimate relationship with him that I had only dreamed off.
Just to clarify, I am not talking about fighting with people. We have had enough of that in this election season. So, if you are being attacked by thoughts, circumstances, or anything else you can fight back through who you are in Christ. If you are a Christian, you are the temple (house) of the Holy Spirit. You are God’s property! So, remember this:
“NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY COMES INTO OUR HOUSE AND PUSHES US AROUND.”
