Around this time of your especially people get stressed out. Christmas time can be a tough time for many. It could be that you are missing family members or just the stress of buying gifts. I am missing some members of my family some gone and some lost for now. This is what I do to overcome the pain. I keep on casting. Casting meets to throw something forcefully in a specified direction. I used to fish and I had to keep on casting; sometimes many times to catch something. You may have to do this! In this case I am throwing it up to God to take. He then gives me a peace that passes understanding.
I have found that just praying ONLY about things in my life virtually never works. I always use a PROMISE and stand on that. It is a legal document that I simply put my child-like faith in and God honors it every time. It has transformed my prayer life doing it this way. I felt very strongly that there is someone or many that needed to hear this.
Be encouraged and don’t keep trying to carry the burden yourself; but CAST YOUR CARE ON HIM. HE CARES FOR YOU!
