I am talking about more than just going to church and being what we call “faithful.” You should do that. We all should. It is the foundation. But what about having an intimate relationship with Jesus that truly transforms you to be more than just an average Christian man or woman? Do it for Jesus, do it for yourself, and do it for you kids and for others.
When I was deathly ill, during my seven year trial, and just before it hit, this one thought consumed me. I didn’t want to stand before Jesus and not have been the Christian man that he wanted me to be. I didn’t want this to be my legacy. Then during the trial, at its worst part, I would look at my wife and grand daughter and think “what am I leaving them? I would just ball. It was overwhelming. Death was a strong possibility. It was then that I determined by God’s grace to find divine healing, and to become a Book of Acts man and be able to give this teaching to others. I don’t say that in any arrogant way. I give God all the glory.
I now am developing a spiritual legacy that I can pass on to others; my family and others who will receive it. I am so grateful that I came to this crossroad in my life and didn’t quit.
So how will you be remembered? What will be your legacy? Will it just be natural or supernatural? It’s never too late to change! There is never any time better to get started than today. If you make this decision and do it with all of your heart, you will be amazed at how much your life has changed in one year. You will also be amazed at how much Godly influence you will be having in other’s lives.
Leave something of value-yourself!
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in
and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:19-21)
