HOW TO RECEIVE YOUR MIRACLE:
ARE YOU WAITING FOR GOD TO DO SOMETHING OR IS HE WAITING FOR YOU?
Got a mountain you need moved? Speak to it! No, Scot I am just waiting for God to move it. You will be waiting a long time. Things changed in the New Testament. Many Christians, act like they are living in the Old Testament and some No Testament. I am not saying these things to be mean.
I was one of those who was powerless. I was poster child for defeat. The trial I went through for ten years changed me. I hated the trial, but I loved the results. I thank God that he brought me out on the side of victory. There were times when I wasn’t sure if I would live or die. Again, I was in horrible pain and would throw up several times a day. I had three collapses during this ten-year period. My greatest God-given gift was that I didn’t quit. I learned to be strong the hard way. I hope you will learn from my experience and what God taught me, so I can save you some grief or shorten the battle you are in.
Let’s read from Mark 11:20-26 (KJV)
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
1. Have Faith in God (VS. 22)
Most of our faith is in ourselves or man. If all your faith is in man, then that will limit your results to man. Divine Healing is an arena that is a perfect example of this. Think about this: if you never are healed supernaturally of any sickness: from cold to a cancer-then you are walking in the natural. You are not moving in the Supernatural healing power of God. Now you need to be careful here-disclaimer. If you are going to have to conquer cancer you should start with a cold and work your way up. And I always tell people it’s better to go to the doctor and get some help then do nothing. And when you pray for the medical procedure or condition God will do all he can, but it’s never as good as Divine Healing by itself. But start safely, with a headache or a cold and ask God to help you and then work your way up. Stand on the promises that is what they are there for.
2. YOU must speak to the mountain! (VS. 23)
Most people are speaking to God about their mountain. Oh, please Lord take this mountain away instead of speaking to their mountain about God. Oh, that just semantics! No, it is not. I listen closely to what people say when they are talking about their trial. I have notice human nature defaults to the natural every time. I have found myself doing it on occasion and making a course correction.
So, does it really matter? It’s life and death. Success or Failure. How important is that? I have tried it both ways Speaking to the Mountain works every time for me. Whining to God never works God loves faith. I am not saying this to be mean but to shake you loose from things that are not working. Definition of Insanity. God gave us the authority and we are trying to throw it back on him. This is so common and a formula for disaster.
Mark 16:15-20 (KJV)
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
It’s God power but under our authority and that power is inside of us. Divine Healing is in your Spirit which the Bible says is in the belly area which could be less than a foot from your cancer. You just have to get it out.
3. You must not Doubt (VS. 24)
When I am talking about doubt, I am not talking about perfection. You can’t eliminate every thought from your head, but you can reject that thought
Matthew 6:33-34 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
(POWERFUL)
Don’t worry about tomorrow. It says don’t take the thought. So, the thought is already there; the bait has been served to your mind don’t take it.
Rebuke it and if you need a little more dynamite quote the Word like Jesus did when tempted by the Devil in the Wilderness. He said it is written.
Say you say when you are in a financial tough spot “My God will supply all my needs.” Say it again and again until that thought leaves and a smile comes on your face and there is peace in your heart. The same is true with healing. “Psalm 103 says “He heals all my diseases.” Not some ALL. This is how you renew your mind. This is how you win the battle! Faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing-just keep saying it your heart will change, and you will strengthen and stabilize it unto faith.
Matthew 18:21-35 (ESV)
21 Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?”
22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.
23 “Therefore the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his servants.
24 When he began to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
25 And since he could not pay, his master ordered him to be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made.
26 So the servant fell on his knees, imploring him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.’
27 And out of pity for him, the master of that servant released him and forgave him the debt.
28 But when that same servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii, and seizing him, he began to choke him, saying, ‘Pay what you owe.’
29 So his fellow servant fell down and pleaded with him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you.’
30 He refused and went and put him in prison until he should pay the debt.
31 When his fellow servants saw what had taken place, they were greatly distressed, and they went and reported to their master all that had taken place.
32 Then his master summoned him and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me.
33 And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’
34 And in anger his master delivered him to the jailers, until he should pay all his debt.
35 So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.”
4. Why is forgiveness mentioned here?
Let me say this here: there are the three U’s that will prevent you from being (these are the only reasons): 1. Unbelief (you must get the doubt out) 2. Understanding-You must have the understanding to know how healing work (I am talking about being healed off your own faith-not someone else’s’) 3. Unforgiveness-You must forgive others for the Grace of God to flow to you and through you.
I have noticed that people who are full of unforgiveness don’t get their miracles. Why not. It blocks the grace of God. The Bible tells us that when we stand praying that we should forgive.
So, let’s break this down into today’s currency. If they were talents of silver, then the debt he owed would have been 114 million dollars by todays standard. If they were gold talents over, he would have owed over 9 billion dollars. He had been forgiven an impossible debt to pay back. Not only that: he and his wife and children would go to be slaves for the rest of their lives to pay off their debt.
He was owed 10,000 by the other guy.
If I have been forgiven 114 million dollars (let’s work with the lesser number) and I can’t forgive someone else 10,000; I just don’t get what grace and mercy from God is all about. Anytime, I am in this kind of situation where someone wrongs me, I always try to remember how much I have been forgiven by God. It makes it easy to draw on his grace and mercy and to forgive them.
How could I not! Some don’t though!
So, if you don’t forgive; it is a spiritual law; you shut down the grace of God. Here is an example: you are praying and believing God for healing and yet full of hatred and unforgiveness towards (let’s say your ex-husband) it shuts down the grace of God. But what if he did me wrong? It’s God’s job do deal with him; yours is to forgive and release him form your judgment. That doesn’t’ mean you have to trust him or be his best friend. God is talking about releasing them. Someone has compared unforgiveness to drinking your own poison. They are not suffering; you are. It will hinder your healing. I do realize and so does God that forgiveness isn’t always a one-time act but a process. You may have to forgive them a hundred times for what they have done to be set free from that poison. But it’s worth it.
I can remember watching two television programs. Both were true stories. Both ended up where a person had been murdered. In the one show, a neighbor who had lost his mind at this point; burst into the neighbor’s house and attacked three people. One died from the vicious attack. At the end the lady said, I sure miss Natalie.
She said I am a Christian woman and I can forgive almost anything but this man (this monster) I will never forgive.
The other story was about two families who lived in one of the large cities in Canada. There was a husband and wife and two or three smaller children. Anyway, across the street there was a party going on at their friend’s house. The neighbors were good friends. He knew that the parents were gone, and the kids were throwing a party and it was super loud and seemed to be getting out of control. I believe it was New Years’ Eve and he and a friend of his went to check things out. They wanted to tell the kids that they better break this up before the police are called and their parents find out.
So, the neighbor went upstairs to try to find the teenage son in the swarm of these other kids who were drinking. A kid attacked, and kind of sucker punched the Dad and he went down. To make a long story short, the dad got hit in the perfect place where he had a weak artery and instantly died.
The mom wanted justice and tried to find the killer and was very active as well as the police were. Nobody would say who did it. They finally found a kid who had quit school and was just partying constantly. His girlfriend said he knew something. She told the police where he was. They picked him up and brought him in for questioning. He just wouldn’t say anything other than he was there and someone had punched him at the party.
The mom asked if she could have a crack at him. She was a Christian and she just wanted to find out what happened and to get justice for her husband. She told the young man “She would stand by him no matter what.” He didn’t budge at first. Then she showed him pictures of her kids and said now they have no father. He began to cry. Then nobody saw coming was next. He said “I did it. I killed him. He had been humiliated earlier by the guy who punched him and called him a wimp. Now, when this man came and started to tell him what to do, he thought he would prove he was Mr. Tough Guy and sucker-punched him and then kicked him in the head.
So, what happened in the aftermath? Do you want to know? Remember the Christian lady who had tragedy lost her husband said that she would stand by him. She did. She forgave him. She visited him weekly in prison. He served a five-year sentence.
He didn’t mean to kill this man. And when he got out she took him in as if he were her own son. The two of them now travel and speak together at school and churches and tell people about the dangers of drinking and partying and the Power of Forgiveness and about God. At the end they hug each other. Pretty awesome
So, which one did what the Bible says? Again, forgiveness is not primarily for you-to get that poison; that bitterness out. Saying that this is beyond forgiveness, what does that say about the grace of God.
PRAYER TIME: (As the Holy Spirit Leads):
I know that I have spent a lot of time of the area of forgiveness. I believe that this was God ordained. It is an over looked area. It can prevent you from receiving the grace of God. Whether that is to have a peaceful mind or to get healed it affects both.
So, if you need a miracle and you are harboring unforgiveness tonight is your night. Forgive from the heart with God’s help. And if it comes back; then keep doing it until it’s gone, and you are victorious. It’s that important.
So, if you need to forgive someone so God’s grace and mercy and healing power, etc. can flow again in your life Would you pray this prayer after me and mean it form your heart:
Dear Lord,
I am sorry for not forgiving (say their name)
You have forgiven me millions of times more than what they have done to me. Thank you for that.
Please help me to forgive them now!
I forgive from my heart with your help (say the name)
Thank you that you have released me from this.
Please let your mercy and grace and healing power flow again in my life
In Jesus Name, Amen
-If you need a miracle-you have cleared the path
-So, whether you had unforgiveness and have forgiven or didn’t have any, I would like to believe with you for a healing miracle for you.
Dear Lord,
Help me to “Have Faith in you” not just in myself or others
Help me not to doubt
I speak to that mountain right now
(For example, say Cancer or whatever your condition is; speak to it and believe and do not doubt and command it to leave your body and then command your health to be restored) Now let's do it! Say-
Disease (name whatever it is) in Jesus name I command it to be healed and I also command my body to heal and my health be restore. Thank you Lord for doing it.
And again, for anyone struggling to receive: keep doing baby steps first-colds/headaches then work your way up. That’s how I did it and it worked for me and it will work for you.
I was one of those who was powerless. I was poster child for defeat. The trial I went through for ten years changed me. I hated the trial, but I loved the results.
